Join CSI 2019: An opportunity to improve reputation and business brand


This is the 4th year VCCI andVBCSD cooperate   with   related    ministries and   agencies   to   organize   a program on assessment and publication of Vietnam sustainable  enterprises.   This   shows   that the  rankings  have  created  great   spread   and encouragement for the Vietnamese business community, including SMEs and microenterprises in terms of sustainable development, corporate governance ... especially in the context that Vietnam is accelerating the implementation of sustainable development, digital transformation in the industrial revolution 4.0. Participation and in the ranking of sustainable businesses is not only recognized by    the    Government,    ministries,  agencies, management  agencies,  domestic  and  foreign partners for enterprises but also opens up opportunities for businesses to enhance the reputation, brands and competitiveness, as well as facilitating the international integration process.

To register for the program, enterprises only need to set up a sustainable business index. This year, the indicator set has been streamlined from 131 to 98 indicators, accompanied by instructions. More specifically, 90% of them are legal compliance indicators. As a result, businesses can file their applications quickly and conveniently.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, VCCI Secretary General and Vice Chairman of VBCSD said : “The 2019 Sustainable Enterprise Index (CSI) has been more streamlined and easier to apply than in previous years. Index groups are more organized and specific. In particular, the set  of  indicators  is    issued    with    the instruction manual. Each indicator will have explanations and instructions which are specific, close and easy to understand so that businesses can easily report information, select appropriate reference documents ”.

What is special about this year’s program is that businesses will get 2% more points when they apply online to reduce printing waste, record storage and waste into the environment.
